Part 2 of the Personality at Home Series
You go with the flow.
You don't rush to the finish line; you're busy enjoying the ride.
This is part two of our Personality at Home series, where we explore how different personalities shape routines, environments, and sanity levels. You can find type A here.
While Type A thrives on structure, Type B thrives on space.
Both mental & creative space.
You don't see the point in turning life into a race.
Experiences > efficiency
Type B personalities are often:
Creative & open-minded
Patient & flexible
Calm under pressure (or better at avoiding it)
Less prone to urgency
Able to adapt without spiraling
Your short to-do list is in your head
You take detours and the long way home
You have a "We'll figure it out" approach to life
Home is a mood.
Comfort means more than perfection. Your home is lived-in and tells a story - often paired with a mound of laundry still in the spare living room chair.
Relaxation before anything.
You know how to rest and can watch a movie without folding laundry at the same time. Lounging is one of your favorite things.
Creativity over chores.
You probably find yourself repainting a room on a random Thursday just because. Or rearranging the living room. Again. Routines do exist, but they're flexible and far between.
Everyone has their pitfalls at home. Type B's look a little something like:
Procrastination is NOT your friend & often snowballs into bigger issues
The organizing bug that told you to tear your kitchen apart at 7 pm on a Tuesday
Creativity can override practicality
Bills and deadlines can sneak up on you
Gentle Deadlines
Set timelines, not timers. “Finish by Friday” instead of “finish in 45 minutes.”
Steady Habits
Pick one or two daily rituals: skin care, a walk after lunch, stretching in the morning.
Simplify Systems
No complicated planners. Use sticky notes, a whiteboard, voice memos.
Fun + Function
Pair chores with something you enjoy: your favorite podcast, Spotify playlist, an audiobook.
Comfort > perfection, always
Creativity thrives in breathing room
Deadlines are (sometimes too) flexible
You don't need to be more rigid - you
→ Up next: Type C.
A bit meticulous, measured...and planning the next five steps.
