October Highlights: Austin Events, National Summits, and Everywhere Queen of To Do Showed Up

October was a hectic month in Austin, and we were everywhere!

From vendor booths and panels to a national stage in D.C., we've spent the past month meeting incredible people, connecting with our ATX community, and stepping into the rooms where big things happen!

Queen of To Do at Texas Conference for Women 2025 — event booth, keynote arena, and team connecting with attendees about home support, delegation, and women’s mental load.

Here’s where we were, what we saw, and what stuck with us.

One Oak Home Pro Panel: "Styling Life from the Inside Out"

Kate was invited to speak as a featured home professional on the One Oak stage, alongside other home experts in custom storage solutions and transition & organization coaching. The conversations touched on how the spaces we live in impact how we move, lead, and feel.

This event really underscored something we see with our clients every day: your environment either supports your peace or steals from it. You can’t expect to thrive in chaos and you don’t have to.

The Inaugural Flatwater Fest: Connecting With Austin

Flatwater Fest brought together local vendors, musicians, creatives, and families for a signature Austin event: laid-back, vibrant, and deeply rooted in purpose. Hosted at Radio East, this family-friendly outdoor event featured live music, food trucks, and plenty of ways for Austinites to come together in support of something meaningful.

We were proud to show up as a vendor and connect with the community face-to-face. Kate and her kiddo held it down at the booth (special thanks to Lick Honest Ice Creams for the free samples and keeping one small assistant very happy).

This mission hits home. Kate’s husband, Mike, has been living with Hodgkin's lymphoma and is personally connected to Jason Dudey, a Flatwater board member. Supporting this event was a show of solidarity and a chance to connect meaningfully with a community we care about deeply. Thank you to the Flatwater Foundation for the work you do. 💙

What We Heard at the Texas Conference for Women

This was our third year attending the Texas Conference for Women, and every year, the conversations feel deeper.

In a sea of nearly 10,000 attendees, it would be easy to feel lost. But something happens in the real, unfiltered conversations with women, the kind that happen in passing or over a quick coffee, when the masks come off and the truth comes out.

As Heather put it:

“For me, the Texas Conference for Women was a powerful reminder that we have strength in numbers. Women's time, energy and attention have long been undervalued. Our rest and our joy are political.”

We’ve asked hundreds of women over the years, “What would you do if you had a dedicated assistant to help lighten the load?”

You’d expect big answers:
- Get an MBA.
- Run for office.
- Launch something new.

Instead, we hear this, over and over again:
- “I’d take a nap.”
- “I’d go for a walk.”
- “I’d read a book for fun.”

It’s not about ambition. It’s about capacity.
And that’s why we show up.

Even if we’re not changing the world by doing the dishes or folding laundry, we’re giving world-changing women the space to breathe. To think. To recover. To go after what matters to them.

“We aren’t necessarily changing the world by doing people’s laundry and dishes. But do you know who is? The women whose laundry and dishes got done.” — Heather, Queen of To Do COO

Texas Conference for Women 2025 Day Of

Washington D.C.: Kate at the Goldman Sachs 2025 Summit

While the team was holding it down in Austin, Kate was invited to attend the Goldman Sachs 2025 Summit in Washington, D.C., a gathering of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and legacy builders.

From discussions on economic leadership to keynote takeaways from women like Martha Stewart, Nancy Twine, and Dina Powell McCormick, the summit was a high-powered reminder that bold business is personal.

Highlights from Kate’s notebook:

“I realized I was my greatest asset—and I needed to invest appropriately.” — Nancy Twine

“If you don't take a chance on yourself, no one else ever will.” — Dina Powell McCormick

“There are benefits and burdens to every situation.” — Lloyd Blankfein

"Being in the room reminded me that our work at Queen of To Do doesn’t just support individuals, it supports impact. When you clear mental load, you make space for leadership. That’s what we’re building here with Queen of To Do." — Kate Ginsberg, Queen of To Do Founder and CEO

And... Happy Halloween!!

Because yes, we’ve been working nonstop, but we're definitely not skipping the candy.

This month reminded us how much energy goes into building something powerful and the importance of staying connected to the people, clients, and communities we serve.

Thanks for being in our corner.
We’ll see you out there.
